Salary - WPT Band 6 £29777 - £32076 (£27371 - £29485 pro-rata)

Hours -  Part-Time TBC , Term time plus 2 weeks + all Inset days

Contract Type - Permanent

Are you an experienced marketing professional ready to take the lead in a dynamic and creative role? We are seeking a Senior Marketing and Communications Officer to join our innovative team  where you'll help shape our brand, engage with our community, and drive our digital presence forward.

 Responsibilities Include

  • Support in the development and implementation of the Trust’s Marketing and Communications Strategy in line with the vision and values of the organisation

  • Coordinate the work of the Marketing and Communications team in developing, maintaining and updating the Trust’s portfolio of websites. Develop, review and edit new and existing content for the Trust’s websites, including engaging pages, application forms, portals and news stories

  • Coordinate the implementation of digital marketing activity, analysing key data to guide the development of new marketing and communication strategies to increase activity and engagement

  • Take a lead in the Trust’s Community Engagement Strategy, working with internal and external partners to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders

  • Investigate new and emerging social media platforms and trends, ensuring WPT safely operates in an ever-changing online world

  • Lead on social media and other Trust communication platforms, collaborating with stakeholders and local, regional and national media

  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of large projects and events including the WPT Staff Awards and School Report

  • Maintain and develop content management systems, coordinating the testing of new and existing functionality

  • Respond to requests for media support, dealing with more complex issues, providing training to users of content management systems

  • Assist in the development of Trust polices and marketing strategy

  • Ensure the Trust’s brand guidelines are implemented and followed across the Trust

  • Day to day supervision of Marketing and Communication team members including monitoring and allocating work and assisting with staff development to ensure that service standards are maintained and colleagues are supported
