Salary: WPT Band 4 £25584 - £27269 (£20706 - £22070 pro-rata)
Hours: Flexible Hours up to 34 per week, term time including 5 additional days

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 3 - Mental Health to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of our pupils. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate in Lesson Planning: Work closely with class teachers to design and deliver learning activities for individuals and groups, adapting materials and methods to meet the unique needs of each pupil.
Create an Inclusive Environment: Establish and maintain a positive and supportive learning atmosphere, using appropriate resources to enhance pupil engagement and understanding.
Monitor and Evaluate Progress: Track pupils' performance against set learning objectives, providing valuable feedback to class teachers and administering routine assessments in line with the academy’s marking policy.
Support Individual Needs: Contribute to the creation and implementation of EHCPs, attending review meetings and adapting strategies to address the specific needs of pupils.
Supervise Classes: Lead pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity in learning and maintaining a structured environment.
Promote Positive Behaviour: Assist in the organisation and management of pupils during activities, encouraging good behaviour and supporting pupils in taking responsibility for their actions.
Provide Pastoral Care: Support the class teacher in creating a safe, caring, and supportive learning space where pupils feel valued and understood.
