Salary: WPT Band 4 £25584 - £27269 (£20706 - £22070 pro-rata)

Hours: Flexible Hours up to 34 per week, term time including 5 additional days

Contract type: Permanent

Join Our Dynamic Team as a Teaching Assistant Level 3! 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant Level 3 - Behaviour Support to join our dynamic team. This vital role will involve working closely with teachers and students to provide tailored support, foster positive behaviour, and create an environment where every student can thrive. Key Responsibilities

  • Lesson Support and Adaptation:

  • Collaborate with class teachers to plan and deliver differentiated learning activities for individuals and groups, ensuring all pupils’ unique needs are met.

  • Select and adapt resources to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

  • Monitoring and Feedback

  • Track and evaluate pupils' performance against predetermined learning objectives, providing regular feedback to class teachers.

  • Administer and mark routine tests, following the academy’s marking policy.

  • Special Educational Needs Support:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), attending and contributing to reviews to address individual pupil needs.

  • Class Supervision:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring continuity in pupils’ learning.

  • Behaviour Management:

  • Assist in the organisation and management of pupils during lessons, promoting positive behaviour and dealing promptly with incidents in line with school policies.

  • Encourage pupils to take responsibility for their behaviour, fostering independence and self-regulation.

  • Pastoral Care:

  • Support the class teacher in providing a nurturing and supportive environment, attending to pupils’ social, emotional, and academic well-being.
