Job title: Learning Mentor Level 1 (Isolation Manager)

Salary: WPT Band 5 £26873 - £32076 (£23668 - £28251 pro-rata)

Hours: 37 Hours per week,  term time including 5 additional days

Contract: Permanent

Location: Wickersley School and Sports College

To commence: As soon as possible

Wickersley School and Sports College is seeking a dedicated and proactive Isolation Manager to oversee our Isolation Room and work closely with the pastoral team to support student reintegration. This is a crucial role aimed at helping students overcome barriers to learning and enabling them to succeed both academically and personally.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

As the Isolation Manager, you will:

  • Supervise and support students within the Isolation Room, ensuring a calm and productive environment.

  • Work with students who may present challenging behaviour, helping them to overcome obstacles to their learning.

  • Build strong relationships with students and their families/guardians, responding effectively to individual needs.

  • Implement and develop strategies to support students in achieving their learning goals.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pupil records.

  • Collaborate with external professionals, such as Speech Therapists and Physiotherapists, when necessary.
