Foljambe Primary is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) to join our friendly and forward-thinking Early Years team. As a valued member of our Early Years provision, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and well-being of our youngest pupils. Contribute to the planning and delivery of exciting, high-quality learning experiences that support the individual developmental needs of all children.
Work with small groups or individual children, supporting their learning and recording observations to contribute to assessments and progress tracking.
Support the teacher in promoting positive behaviour and ensuring daily routines and activities run smoothly.
Act as a key worker, building strong, positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and other professionals to ensure every child feels valued and supported.
Contribute to the assessment and implementation of individual support plans and EHCPs where appropriate.
Provide short-term supervision in the absence of the teacher or Early Years Professional.
Attend to children’s personal, emotional, and social needs, helping them develop independence and confidence.
Carry out light administrative and classroom tasks such as preparing displays, photocopying, and resource organisation.
The successful candidate must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification as a Teaching Assistant or Early Years Practitioner.
If you're ready to embark on a rewarding journey of nurturing young minds and making a meaningful impact in the lives of students, we invite you to apply for the position of Teaching Assistant.
