Assistant Headteacher - Behaviour

Salary: AHP 1-5 (Leadership Scale 11-15)

Hours: 32.5

Status: Temp 1 Year

Location: The Gainsborough Academy

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategic Evaluations: Dive deep into teaching, learning, and personnel matters, collaborating closely with the Headteacher to uphold our standards of excellence.

  • Classroom Leadership: Take charge of the classroom as a beacon of inspiration, fulfilling the responsibilities of a class teacher with zeal and dedication.

  • Leadership Support: As a vital member of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you'll assist the Headteacher in steering the ship of our school, representing them with passion and conviction in meetings and beyond.

  • Data-driven Excellence: Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of systems for gathering assessment data, ensuring that every child's progress is tracked meticulously to drive achievement across key stages.

  • Teacher Development: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by coaching, mentoring, and supporting our teaching staff in self-evaluation and professional growth.

  • High Standards: Lead by example, achieving outstanding student attainment, behaviour, and motivation through your exemplary teaching and managerial prowess.

  • Collaborative Liaison: Forge strong partnerships with staff members to ensure seamless continuity and progression across all age and ability ranges.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality assurance checks and lead on the analysis of behaviour data, ensuring that every aspect of our provision for students is finely tuned for success.

  • Behaviour Leadership: Take the helm in managing behaviour across the school, collaborating with fellow leaders to implement a graduated response and support system that nurtures every student.

  • Data Analysis: Dive into behaviour data to drive informed decision-making and ensure that our strategies are tailored to meet the needs of every individual.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with key stakeholders, including parents, to ensure that behaviour management is a collaborative effort that encompasses the entire school community.
